Individual, family and marital counseling sessions are available by appointment only, with priority given to LBC members. For ongoing couseling, there are professional Christian counselors that most requests are referred to.
When illness and injury come, we are affected emotionally and spiritually. Teams of trained, caring members are available to visit for prayer and encouragement if you, or someone you know, is hospitalized. Please contact Pastor canada, a deacon or care team member if you are aware of someone ill who should be ministered to.
Financial Assistance & Food
LBC provides a benevolence ministry for those in need and is one of the churches that make up Chipola Family Ministries. Through Chipola Family Ministries we provide food and clothing to those in need. In addition, we also offer assistance to young women in crisis pregnancy situations and provide professional counseling assistance for individuals and families that are facing life issues that require professional christian counseling.
Our care teams have specific members trained in many areas of financial counseling including budgeting, insurance, and some types of special assistance programs.
Our care teams also offer special assistance to members and those regularly attending with special assistance. This special assistance often falls into the category of boarding or feeding animals during out of town emergencies, helping to run errands or finding lodging and assistance for those with family memebers coming in from out of town.
For care team assistance, please contact the church office: (850) 592-5415.
